LEEDS FILM WEDDING, IN BLACK AND WHITE.

SHOOTING PHOTO FILM ROLLS AT A WEDDINGS.

I learned photography shooting on film and I also started as a wedding photographer doing weddings with film, maybe this has influenced the way I take pictures.

Now a days I take the wedding photos with a digital cameras but I sometimes feel the urge to do some of them with one of my film cameras.

The style of my photographs will be the same, if I choose one or the other… but before taking the photos with film in the camera the creative approach can be a little different, for me more reflective. Consequently the end result is slightly different, you can observe a special texture, in the colour and in the blacks and whites, this all depends on the film I have chosen, and I love that!

I took these wedding photographs when I was a wedding photographer in Lancaster for Ester and Brett. Kids at wedding always make it fun and they always provide good moments to photograph.

For this set of images I used the classic black and white film Ilford HP5+ loaded on my Nikon F100.
