A FAVOURITE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPH AT All SAINT’S CHURCH IN BOLTON PERCY.
Bolton Percy is a small village near York where I was the wedding photographer last Spring. The ceremony was held at All Saint’s Church.
I try to go, whenever I can, to have a look, to the churches or wedding venues, to check on the quality of the light I could find. Initially I thought that the light in this church might be a bit poor, too dark perhaps. But, luckily, there are a large and colourful stained glasses admitting warm light that contrasts beautifully with the cold light inside the church.
The scene here is the signing of the registry of the wedding, you can see on one side the signing by the family and the other side the bride and groom …first impressions of each other after the ceremony!
