REPORTAGE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT YORKSHIRE DALES.

OBSERVATION IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF REPORTAGE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY.

A good example is this  photograph, the wedding of Amy and Kieran. The whole wedding day was held at a farm near Ribblehead Viaduct in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

In this wedding scene the bride is about to enter to begin the ceremony , the bridesmaids and her father are making some final adjustments to her wedding dress. The whole scene is quietly observed under the gaze of an older couple.

For a reportage wedding photography one of the most important things is the sense of observation, I always try to observe what is happening around and to find another point of view of the same scene. At the beginning I was closer to the wedding party but I could see the older couple behind the corner then I walked away from the scene to include them. I think the photograph is more interesting in this way, it is like a life cycle.

Enjoy the photo!
